It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Harris of Waycross, Georgia, born in Alma, Georgia, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Slaughter and Nellie Faye Williams Slaughter; her husband Ralph Leonard Harris; and her siblings, Benny Slaughter, Archie Slaughter and Chester Slaughter.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Harris of Waycross, Mitchell Harris (Teresa) of Waycross and Shannon Harris of Waycross; her grandson Joshua Harris of Waycross; and her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Harris of South Plainfield and Debra Slaughter of Lawrenceville, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
