She was predeceased by: her parents, Rance Mathis Smith and Addie Lee Smith; her husband William Edward "Bill" Jernigan; and her sisters, Clarice S. Bunn (Cecil) and Rebecca Bernell Dabbs (Parks).
She is survived by: her son William Asa Jernigan (Laurie) of Fernandina Beach, FL; her nephews, Chris Dabbs (Judy) of Albany and Cecil Rance Bunn (Susan) of Hendersonville, TN; her great-nieces, Dottie Rotch, Whitney Dabbs Seely and Cathy Bunn; her great-nephew Chandler Dabbs; her close friend Stephanie Knagge (Randy) of Callahan, FL; her cousin Melody Lee; and also, Ethan and Preston Knagge.
