He was predeceased by: his father Marqus D. Tillman; and his grandparents, John, Estelle Vining, Marqus (Mock) and Eula Tillman.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy Tillman of Waycross; his son Marqus Jimmy Tillman (Sara) of Waynesville; his stepdaughter Nicole Lute (Jason) of Piketon, Ohio; his grandchildren, Edward Tillman, Kaleigh Gibson of Waynesville and Grayson Lute of Piketon, Ohio; his mother Jeanette V. Lee; his siblings, Janie McQuaig of Waycross, Kevin Tillman (Jackie) of Alma and Keith Tillman (Janet) of Waycross; his aunt Gail Johns (Gene) of Waycross; his father-in-law Thurman Waldren; his siblings-in-law, Kim Massie (Mike) of Waverly, Ohio and Wayne Waldren of Waverly, Ohio; and his uncle Wayne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
