She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Ward and Luella Pengra Ward; and her husband Wally Edwards. She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannie Nolte (Carl) of Waycross and Wendy Fuchs (Greg) of Neptune Beach, FL; her granddaughters, Jeri Ray (Scott) of Waycross and Carli Petit (Chris) of Black Mountain; her great grandchildren, Jackson Ray of Waycross and Olivia Ray of Waycross; and her sister Carol Hansen of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Edwards can be made to the Women on Mission (WOM) group at Central Baptist Church, 201 Ava Street, Waycross, GA 31501.
