He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Gibbs Cason; and his brother Wayne Cason. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Carter Fales; his wife Gloria Jean Cornelius Cason; his daughter Rebecca Cason Davis; his stepchildren, Larry Albro, Melinda Lemon and Jeff Cornelius; and his siblings, Deborah Thomas, Cindy Hendrix, Johnny Cason and Larry Fales. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
