It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madelyn Rimes of Waycross, Georgia, born in Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jackson and Inza Mae Sykes; her husband Joseph Q. Rimes; and her siblings, Sara Concepcion, Evelyn Arline, Ernestine Sims, Amy Wood, Ralph, Fred, Jack and Lewis Sykes.
She is survived by: her daughter Jalona Hartwell (Chris) of Suwanee, GA; her granddaughter Amanda Morgan (Stephen); her great grandchild Macy Rimes Morgan of Holly Springs, GA.; and her brother Robert Sykes of Waycross. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
