He is survived by: his children, Lisa Sweat (Chris) of Blackshear and Robert Montgomery (Susan) of Hinesville; his grandchildren, Wayne Pinkerton (Jamie), Josh Pinkerton, Jason Montgomery (Heather), Chris McRae (Callie) and Christopher Sweat; his great grandchildren, Dagan Boone, Jalie Montgomery, Lacey Montgomery, Weston McRae, Braxton McRae, Madison McRae, Mary Ellen Poppell, Asher McCarty, Hayden McCarty and Gabe McCarty; his brother Larry DeWayne Montgomery of Patrick, SC; and his brother-in-law Ronald J. McKinney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
