She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Way Carter, Sr.; and her siblings, Lois Bishop, Otis Kirkland and Alvin Kirkland. She is survived by: her children, Kay C. Sanders (Robert) of Jacksonville, Ed Carter (Pam) of Jacksonville and Wesley Way Carter, Jr. of Waycross; and her grandchildren, Margo Thornton (Kelly) of Waycross, Wesley Way Carter, III of Jacksonville, David Duane Carter of Jacksonville, Mariah Nicole Gleason (Terry) of Jacksonville, Kimberly Stewart of Jacksonville, Phillip Carter of Jacksonville, Taylor Carter of Jacksonville, Christopher Ray and Suzannah Ray. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
