She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Hutcheson and Thelma Hutcheson; her husband George E. Black; her grandsons, J. D. Burke and Van Streat, Jr.; and her siblings, Nell Cato, Geneva Taylor and Ben Hutcheson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Ann Burke (Jimmy) of Jacksonville, NC, Wanda Bennett (Kevis) of Blackshear, Susan Hilton (Ronnie) of Blackshear and Melissa Strickland (David) of St. Marys; and her grandchildren, Kim Cook (Chris) of Jacksonville, NC, Robin Todd (Jim) of Blackshear, Kelly Lastinger (Seab) of Douglas and Cody Hilton (Michelle) of Blackshear. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
