It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Watkins of Waycross, Georgia, born in Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Rudolph Watkins; her parents, Jesse Columbus and Cleo Eason Altman; and her siblings, Sandra Godwin Heintz and Eddie Altman.
She is survived by: her sons, Britt Watkins (Pearlie) of Waycross, Timothy Watkins of Blackshear and Chad Watkins (Josie Moore) of Blackshear; her brother Gerald Altman (Lynn) of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Zeb, Carson, Jaycee, Ella, Eli and Alayna; and her great grandchild Jaralynn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation for Mrs. Watkins will be held Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home Due to COVID-19, social distancing and the wearing of face masks are strongly encouraged.
