She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie J. Wildes and Maude Stone Wildes; her husband Alvin Edgar Hersey; her sisters, Mary Hill Harrell, Eurice Fleming and Cloice Joiner; and her brothers-in-law, Kent Fleming, Albert Joiner and Ed Harrell.
She is survived by: her son Donald Edgar Hersey (Jane) of Waycross; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Hersey of Waycross and Matthew Donald Hersey (Savannah Strickland) of Waycross; and her stepgranddaughter Traci Helms of Brunswick. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
