She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Oscar Green and Mary Bogozan Green; her husband John Heyward Canington, Sr.; and her sisters, Virginia "Sis" Livingston and Ruby Page.
She is survived by: her sons, John Heyward Canington, Jr. (Paula) of Indian Land and Larkin Lee Canington (Tammy); her grandchildren, Lance Canington (Carolyn), Grant Canington (Meredith), Cara Canington and Tyler Canington (Allison); her great grandchildren, Lewis Canington, Levi Canington, Abel Canington, Jude Canington, Lily Canington and Eleanor Canington; and her sister Mary Darden of Orlando. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church, 201 Ava Street, Waycross, Georgia 31501.
