He was predeceased by: his parent Brantley Eugene "B. E."; and his sister Wilma Crews. He is survived by: his wife Joette Thrift; his children, Larry G. Thrift, Jr. (Sheila), Craig Lester Thrift and Misty Sharon Thrift; his grandchildren, Justin, Luke and Sarah Thrift; his stepdaughters, Devonya Franzen (Sonny) and Derannya Hale; his stepgrandchildren, Kage Franzen, Corey Jacobs, Cassie Hale and Alyssa Hale; and his siblings, Sarah Thrift and Brantley L. Thrift (Lynn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
