Welch and Delora Jane Carter Welch; his sister Carolyn Welch Tucker; his wife Loreta "Toby" Higgs Welch of Waycross; his children, Cindy Hickox (Steve) of Brantley County and Chris Welch (Denise) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Sean Hickox, Gentry Welch and Savannah Welch; and his brothers, Royce Welch (Diane) of Jesup, GA and Harry Welch (Betty Ruth) of Valdosta, GA.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
