He is survived by: his wife Joyce Strickland Moody of Waycross; his children, Candice Moody Rice of Waycross and Calvin Christopher Moody (Heidi) of Valdosta; and his siblings, Lannis Moody (Angie) of Waycross and Jayne Moody Murray (Matt Redding) of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
