Katherine B. Stone Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine B. Stone of Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Bryant and Bertie Lee Winters Bryant; her husband Horace Stone; her sons, Lonnie and Derrell Stone; and her siblings, Harold, William "Bill" Gaythor Bryant and Jearldean Summerlin.
She is survived by: her children, Dewayne Stone (late Susan James Stone) of Waycross and Mamie Head (Timothy) of Waycross; her grandsons, Dustin and Andrew James; and her stepgrandson Craig Head (Addie Gibson). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bible Heritage Church (1414 Albany Ave, Waycross, GA 31503). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
