With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Julius Allen Lyle of Waycross, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryson Estes Lyle and Gladys Gregory Lyle; and his sisters, Lorene Melton and Pat Sellers. He is survived by: his wife LaRee Lyle of Waycross; his children, Barry Lyle of Waycross, Adam Lyle of Los Angeles, Allen Altman (Tanya) of Waycross, Alicia Harkleroad (Thad) of Waycross, Brady Altman (Heather) of McClenney and Wendy Kurtz (Keith) of Springfield, Georgia; his grandchildren, Will Taylor, Taylor Altman (Melanie), Jordan Coker (Gaines), Keegan Kurtz, Bruce Altman, Drew Kurtz (Andrea), Tristan Kurtz, Cade Altman and Grayson Kurtz; his great grandchildren, Graham Taylor and Brooks Coker; and his siblings, Mike Lyle (Diana) of Vero Beach, Florida and Shirley Perkins (David) of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
