She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Simpson and Bessie Beatrice Brooks Simpson; her husband Andrew Johnnie Sears; her brother Henry Lynn Simpson; and her half-sister Johnnie Ruth Peacock.
She is survived by: her son Billy Simpson (Michelle) of Waycross; her grandson Justin Simpson of Waycross; her stepchildren, Rita S. Bond of Waycross and Johnnie A. Sears (Lottie) of Waycross; her stepgrandson Brandon Dale Frick of Waycross; and her sister-in-law Mary Simpson of Blackshear.
