He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wilson Mock, Sr. and Virginia Jo Gardener Mock; and his siblings, Gwendolyn Joyce Tillery and Jeffrey Mock. He is survived by: his wife Phillis Batten Mock of Blackshear; his siblings, Martha Hickox (Arthur) of Blackshear and George Mock (Barbara) of Patterson; and his brother-in-law Waldo Batten. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Music Funeral Home (1503 Tebeau St, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Youmans Chapel Baptist Church (3497 Dean Still Rd, Blackshear, GA 31513).
