He is survived by: his wife Virue Boatright Stewart; his son John G. Stewart of Waycross, GA.; his granddaughters, Dixie Amelia Stewart and Georgia Blue Stewart of Axson, GA.; and his stepgrandson Harrison Fals of Pooler, GA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
