He was predeceased by: his wife Harriet Fulford May; and his sister Carolyn Green. He is survived by: his children, Misty Henderson (Anthony) of Brantley County, John M. May (Peris) of Brantley County and Aaron R. Hill, Jr. (Julie) of Bixby, OK; his grandchildren, Austin, Noah, Payton Henderson, Justin Hendrix, Carly and Easton May; his sister Betty Warwick of Waycross; his brother-in-law Stanley "Bud" Green of Hamilton, VA; his niece Suzanne Bokor (Micky) of Waycross; and his great-niece Sydney Bokor of Waycross. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
