He is survived by: his parents, John F. Mitchell Sr. and Ellen Griffin Mitchell of Waycross; his daughters, Cindy (Jim) of Seffner, FL and Debbie (Chuck) of Seffner, FL; and his brother Harry. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and a multitude of friends.
