He was predeceased by: his parents, George Maxwell Crichton and Bernice Bailey Crichton; his wife Ruth B. Crichton; and his brother Thomas Crichton. He is survived by: his children, John Crichton (Darlene), Bruce Crichton and Judi Thomas (Buddy) of St. Simons Island; his grandchildren, Michael Crichton, Leigh Bolt (Andrew), Paige Strange (Robert) and Aaron Thomas (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Vivian, Ellis and Serafina.
