He is survived by: his sons, Joel Andrew Smith of Hinesville and Timothy Eugene Smith of Lakeville, PA; and his siblings, Jane Smith Gunter of Waycross and Edward Smith of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
