He was predeceased by: his parents, T. Wilson Hunsinger and Esther J. Hunsinger; his son Russell Wilson Hunsinger; and his brother Theodore "Ted" Hunsinger. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Hunsinger; his daughters, Joyce Colby of Blackshear and Kathy King (Talmadge) of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Alison Hunsinger, Anna Taylor (Clay) of Dalton Colby, R. J and Hunsinger, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Mac Ponsell, Bella Hunsinger and Chloe Taylor; and his sister April Tyler of Blackshear. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501).
