Though Jerry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Pearson and Ima Jean Chastain Pearson; his grandson William Chastain "Chase" Pearson; and his siblings, Jackie Pearson and Shirley Swords.
He is survived by: his son William Scott Pearson of Waycross; his stepdaughter Lori Coker Donnelly; his grandson Chandler Scott Pearson of Blue Ridge, GA; and his former wife Marie Bates of St. Augustine, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Music Funeral Home (1503 Tebeau St, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
