With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Allen Deweese (Waycross, Georgia), born in Alma, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lamar Deweese and Ina Harper Deweese; and his brother Jack Deweese. He is survived by: his wife Lawanda Parr Deweese of Waycross; his children, Wendy Drury (Dwight) of Blackshear, Grant Deweese of Waycross and Deanna Brantley (Ryan) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Hanna Newman (Brad) and Tanner Deweese; his great grandchildren, Liza Jane Brantley, Saylor and Waylon Newman; and his close friend Raymond Crews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
