We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2021 we had to say goodbye to James Tatum of Waycross, Georgia, born in Blackshear, Georgia. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Tatum and Catherine Hunter Tatum; his wife Margaret Hancock Tatum; and his daughter Christine Tatum Smith. He is survived by: his children, Gail Hutchinson (Jack) of Brunswick, Debbie Mason (Richard) of Brunswick and James F. Tatum, Jr. of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Christopher Hutchinson, Todd Hutchinson, David Mason, Samantha Brooks and Leslie Petty-Brecheisen; and his close friend Ruth Thomas of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
