He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Moore and Iris Moody Moore; and his grandmother Mattie Moody. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Smith Moore of Waycross; his children, James "Jamey" Moore of Waycross and Terri Moore Howard (Keith) of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Leanna Nicole Howard of Blackshear and Benjamin Keith Howard, Jr. of Blackshear; his sister Shirley Moore Tippins (Lamar) of Patterson; his aunt Josephine Gibson (Jim) of Hortense; and his uncles, Tony Moore (Ressie) of Dothan, AL and Kittly Moody of Waynesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
