He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Taylor Wiggins and Eudell Irene Faulk Wiggins; and his sister Susie King. He is survived by: his wife Suzane Strickland Wiggins of Waycross, GA; his children, Daphanie Campbell (Charles) of Hinesville, GA, Stacia Wood (Charles) of Fleming Island, FL and James Wiggins, Jr. (Leslie) of Dallas, GA; his grandchildren, Madison LePain, Erin Campbell, Taylor McCartney, Patrick Messbarger, Jessica Messbarger, James Wiggins III (Eli), Finley Wood, Ben Campbell, William Wiggins, Rebekah Campbell, Joseph Messbarger, Stella Wiggins and Poppy Campbell; his siblings, George Wiggins (Stella), Herman Wiggins, Pat Wiggins (Peggy), Mary Hazel Couch, Minnie Douglas and Jennie Padrick (Al); and his friends, Wayne O'Quinn and Ed Carney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family requires that masks are to be worn to the service and to observe social distancing.
