He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. McCarthy and Blanche Howard McCarthy; his daughter Jessica Michelle McCarthy; and his siblings, David Williams, Danny Williams, Jeff McCarthy, Teri Shirey and Rita Elaine McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Karen McCarthy of Waycross; his children, Melissa LeGare (Randy) of Blackshear and Cray McCarthy (Jennifer) of Jesup; his grandchildren, Brandon Lee, Richard LeGare (Regan), Randall LeGare, Jr., Brandon McCarthy and Haden McCarthy; his great grandchildren, Kashlynn Simmons, Kyler Simmons and Tyler Simmons; and his sister Lori Ann Lane (Alan) of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jordan Congregational Methodist Church (3592 Dixie Union Rd, Waycross, GA 31503).
