She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Allen and Lois Pauline Meeks Gunter; her sister Vickie Gunter Staley; and her sister-in-law Brenda Gunter. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Walker of Waycross and Michael Morales of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Teresa Dixon (Randy) of Blackshear, Glenn Gunter of Waycross and Keith Gunter of Waycross; her grandchildren, Olivia McConney, Emily Carver and Curtis Morales; and her great grandchild Lilith Carver. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Chapel (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A reception was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
