Isabel Delk Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabel Delk (Waycross, Georgia), who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Justice Howell Rouse and William Jackson Howell; her daughters, Patricia Hendrix Steele Borbach and Sherrie Delk Corbitt; her stepson Roy Delk; and her siblings, R. M. Howell, W. H. Howell, Ocie Cobb, Idell Thrift, Annell Johns, Hodge Rouse, Luther Rouse and Lavada Sears.
She is survived by: her friend Isabel; her son William Silas Hendrix Jr. (Bud); her sister Dorothy Murphy (Johnny); her nephew William Silas Hendrix, Jr. (Clara); her niece Pamela Delk Farr (George); her grandchildren, Dr. Patricia Suzanne Hart (Tom), Jeff Corbitt, Sarah Isabel Farr Spicer (Kevin) and George Farr III (Emily); her great grandchildren, Dr. Rachel Hart, Rebecca Hart, Andrew Hart, Isabel Farr, Ari Spicer, George Farr IV, Mila Spicer and Freya Mirana Farr; her stepchildren, Gary Delk (Linda) and Donna Naramore (Wayne); her sons-in-law, Tony Borbach and Raymond Corbitt; and her husband Silas Hendrix. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid-19, memorial services will be held outdoors on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
