With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Thrift of Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on March 29, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Leon Thrift and Louisa Cox Thrift; his stepson Kenny Courson; and his siblings, Spence Thrift, Will Thrift, Edward (Thrift), Lourene Ponsell, Margaret Swartz and Lillian King.
He is survived by: his wife Tanual Thrift of Waycross; his sons, Curt Thrift of Folkston and Burt Thrift (Retha) of Nichols; his stepson Kelly Courson (Sandy) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Thrift, Dawson Thrift, Shawn Courson (Danielle), Tyler Courson and Hailey Courson; and his siblings, John Thrift (Sarah) of Waycross, Elmer Thrift (Susan) of Waycross, Mary Bennett (Adrian) of Leesburg and Martha Carter (Travis) of Alma. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
