He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anne Herring and Brian Corbitt. He is survived by: his wife April Grau Berneche of Waycross; his children, Sara Berneche (Steven Bender) of St. Marys, Paige Bowers (Jeffery) of Blackshear, Wayne Carver, III of Waycross, Caleb Boatright of Waycross and Julian Boatright of Waycross; his mother Carol Berneche Corbitt of Waycross; his brothers, Scott Berneche (Faye) of Jesup, Darrin Corbitt of Waycross and Billy Corbitt (Kim) of Askov, MN; his sister-in-law Cheryl Corbitt of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Paisley Bowers, Harlie Wilson, Rylie Bender, Cooper Bowers and Tatum Bowers; and his pet Khloe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Home of Paige & Jeffery Bowers (6641 Tot Dr, Blackshear, GA 31516).
