He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kenneth Prescott and Mary Virginia McCoy Prescott; and his son Silas L. King (Prescott). He is survived by: his wife Jackie Prescott of Waycross; his children, Mike Prescott (Jessica) of Waycross and Tina Scarbrough (Rob) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Jonothan Cobb, Jaiden Cobb, Sarah Scarbrough and David Scarbrough; his brothers, Terry Prescott of Waresboro and Brent Kemling, Sr. of Citrus Springs, Florida; his nephew Tyler Prescott of Waycross; his niece Rebekah Land (Aaron) of St. Augustine, Florida; and his aunts and uncles, Dorothy Woodall, Elizabeth Mercer (Chuck), Johnny McCoy (Lisa) and Jack Lawson.
