He was predeceased by: his father Lester Walker of Patterson; his wife Martha Joyner Walker; his mother Irene Walker of Patterson; and his sisters, Polly James and Gertrude Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Les Walker (Bonnie Clendenen Walker) of Nahunta, Julie Protiva (David Protiva) of Atlanta and Dan Walker (Nicole Eickhoff Walker) of Abingdon, MD.; his grandsons, Joe Protiva, Andrew Protiva and Matthew Walker; and his nieces and nephews, David James, Jeremy James of Blackshear, Carol Newson-Smith, Chris Walker and Wendy Walker of Waycross.
