It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frankie Sweat (Waycross, Georgia), who passed away on May 28, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Joseph M. Pearson and Fred L. Sweat; and her sisters, Frances Tillery, Myrtice Chappelear, Johnnie Boatright and Leona Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Joey Pearson (Debbie) of Waycross, Tommy Pearson and Tedi Palmore (Wade) of Athens, TN; her grandchildren, Kyle Pearson of Bradenton, FL, David King (Mary) of Waycross, Jennifer Anderson of Waycross, Jeanette Lee of Athens, TN, Jason Lee of Athens, TN, Justin Pearson (Mindy) of Waycross and Aaron Banks of Waycross; and her siblings, Gladys Dixon of Houston, TX, Clara "Flutie" Thomas of North Augusta, SC and Jimmy Higgs of Waycross. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
