He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Sam Pelham Turk and Lora Mashburn Turk; his wife Lou Sims Turk; and his brother John Halbert Turk. He is survived by: his sons, Sam Turk (Lana) of Fort Mill, SC, Bill Turk (Holly) of Fairhope, AL and Hal Turk (Margaret) of Johnston, SC.. He is also survived by His extended family includes one sister-in-law, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
