It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Sapp Jr. (Waycross, Georgia), who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sapp, Sr. and Irma Lynn Lloyd; his stepfather Jack Lloyd; his brother Leonard Sapp; and his stepsisters, Susan Thrift and Pat Sheffield.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Sweat Sapp of Waycross; his children, Greg Sapp (Cassandra) of Waycross, Brian Sapp of Cumming and Ashley Sapp King (Justin) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Cody Ayala, Stephanie Sapp, Cloe Sapp, Avery Sapp, Kyle Sapp, Annie Sapp, Elijah King, Gavin Sapp, Peyton Sapp and Jaden Sapp Dowd; his great grandchildren, Ella and Cade; his siblings, David Sapp (Arlene), Janice Strickland (Robert), Ronnie Sapp (Patricia), Patricia Moore (Darnell) and Regina Maberry (Tommy); his stepbrother Tommy Lloyd (Beth); and his close friends, David Callahan and Dwight Wildes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
