Though Elmer may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elmer touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Lee and Lonnie Aldridge. He is survived by: his wife Blanche Aldridge of Waycross; his children, Donna Aldridge of Atlanta and Emuel Aldridge (Juana Gnecco) of Athens; his granddaughters, Gina Titelman of Atlanta and Ana Aldridge of Athens; and his siblings, Lou Rainie Cadoura (Wayne Caffarel) and Clyde Aldridge (Barbara).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation to the Satilla Hospice or to the James M. Dye Foundation at South Georgia State College would be appreciated.
