She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Denton and Rutha Mae Sallet Denton; her husband Larry Pope; her siblings, Willie Denton, Floyd Denton, Billy Joe Denton, Virginia Denton and Nancy Denton; and her stepfather Billy Works.
She is survived by: her children, Demetrius Denton (Kimberly) of Waycross, Sheila Thompson (Jeffrey) of Waycross, Larry Denton of Waycross, Delvin Denton (Quintina) of Waycross, Kimberly Denton of Waycross and Jennifer Denton of Waycross; her siblings, Marie Bacon (Johnny) of Waycross, Betty Joe Denton of Waycross, Tony Denton (Tomyka) of Waycross and Elvis Denton (Charlotte) of Waycross; and her sisters-in-law, Tammy Denton of Bainbridge, Tonya Denton of Blackshear and Essie Denton of Waycross. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and special friends.
