She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lymon Nettles and Minnie Prescott Nettles; her husband Dewey D. McDaniel; her children, Wesley McDaniel, J. B. McDaniel and Janice McDaniel Burney; her grandchildren, Gina Balwanz Cox and Wesley Higgs; and her siblings, Early Nettles, Ellie Nettles, Daisy Hurst and Rosa Lee Grantham.
She is survived by: her children, Henry McDaniel (Emmalene) of Waycross, Marvin McDaniel of Millwood, Gary McDaniel of Waycross, Jean Bowman of Waycross and David McDaniel (Debbie) of Millwood. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
