He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Wheeler and Evelyn Chaffin Wheeler; and his wife Mary Jane Cardwell. He is survived by: his sons, Eddie J. Wheeler, Jr. (Amy) of Valrico, FL and Todd Wheeler (Dawn) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Brittany Wheeler, Brittany Soto, Jason Wheeler, Joe Wheeler and Megan Stewart; his brother Wilson Wheeler (Rosalind) of Ft. Myers, FL; his niece Kelly Helmerson; his nephew Dr. Kevin Wheeler; his children, Jenna of Waycross, Brynley of Waycross, Britt of Waycross and Michael Jacobs (Beth) of Waycross; his close friends, Betty Fullard of Waycross and Dorothy Sanders of Waycross; and his pets, Buster, Roamer and Rowdy. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
