He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Spivey and Lula Lee Williams Spivey; his son Terry Earl Spivey; and his siblings, Mary Lee Tucker, Marie Yates, Edna Edge, Benjamin H. Spivey, Joseph Spivey and Aubrey F. Spivey.
He is survived by: his wife Frances "Louise" Stevens Spivey of Waycross; his son Rodney Alan Spivey (Monica Braddock) of Waycross; his daughter-in-law Beth Spivey of Waycross; and his grandchildren, Kelli Taylor (Corey), Lauren Lester (Rick), Sarah Mills (Josh), Benjamin Spivey (Kessy), Trey Spivey, Sabrina Spivey and Harley Spivey. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
