He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Everett Fitzgerald and Ethel Stokes Fitzgerald; his wife Lucille Hendrix Fitzgerald; his son Brad Austin Fitzgerald; and his sister Betty Jean Owens.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Steedley (Johnny) of Waycross, GA; his brother James Fitzgerald (Fannie); and his friend Richard Church (Jessica). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Music Funeral Home (1503 Tebeau St, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
