She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Simpson and Jane Swanwick Simpson; her husband Eugene Franklin Dixon; and her son Nathan Dixon. She is survived by: her children, Eugenia Dixon of Waycross and Bruce Dixon of Sebastian, FL; her daughter-in-law Mamie Dixon of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Whitney Dixon, Sierra Dixon, Bruce Dixon, Jr., Eric Dickerson (Ashley) and Justin Dickerson (Briana); her great grandchildren, Jordan Neese, Karma Neese, Kaylee Buckles, Bruce Dixon, III, Mackenzie Dickerson, Justin, Dickerson, Jr., Journie Zagroski, Jackson McCullough and Jude McCullough; and her siblings, Laurie McDonald of St. Marys, GA, Mary Salzer (Steve) of St. Marys, GA, Betty Taylor of Patterson, Liz Jeffers of Patterson, Arthur Simpson (Joann) of Rhode Island and James Simpson (Linda) of Alabama. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
