She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Carl McKay and Estelle Sammons McKay; her husband Michael Bruce McDade; her sister Irma Jean McKay Melton; and her sister-in-law Claire McDade Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Melody Carmen McDade of Athens, Georgia; her sister Lynda McKay Strickland of Waycross; and her sister-in-law Carol Lynn Geluso of Raleigh. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
