Doris Carter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Carter of Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on April 19, 2021 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Carter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vester Carter and Carolyn Cleo Stanfield Carter; her children, Sunshine Bowen and James King; and her brother Terry Carter.

She is survived by: her daughter Shannon King (Kenneth) of Waycross; her grandchildren, Mary Bowen of Hinesville, James Rowland of Hinesville, Destiny Rowland of Waycross, A. J, Padgett of Alapaha, Skylar Lankford of Valdosta, Amber Sweat of Waycross, Cody Sweat of Waycross, Austin King of Manor and Trinity King of Manor; her great grandchildren, Damon Rowland, Isaiah Harris and Junior Harris; her brother Perry Carter (Doreen) of Atlanta, Georgia; her cousin Sharon Oglesby of Waycross; and her close friend Jerry Pittman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
