It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Lee Selden Cowart (Waycross, Georgia), born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Selden and Myrtle Johns Selden; and her son Preston Cowart. She is survived by: her husband Leon Cowart, Sr. of Waycross; her children, Leon Curtis Cowart, II (Shari) of Waycross, Lonnie Benjamin Cowart, Sr. (Brenda) of Waycross and Cynthia Dyal of Waycross; her grandchildren, Brandy Head, Lonnie Benjamin Cowart, II, Gregory Lee "Bo" Dyal, II, Kristy Smythe (Johnny), Bridgette Cowart Johnson (Aaron), Leon (Cowart, III) and Lisa Plummber; and her siblings, Donnie Selden (Sally) of Waycross, Pat Carter of Race Pond, Leo Selden (Sheila) of Jesup, Mary Chancey of Homerville and Patricia Thompson (Terry) of North Carolina. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
